Sign the petition https://www.change.org/survivorslaw As a some people may know since March last year our co-founders have been fighting the man who sexually abused them in the high court. This video pen portrait is the first of its kind to be played to a jury at an inquest. The family of Gaia Pope-Sutherland put together this video (total duration 3:04 minutes) to show the phenomenal person Gaia was, how loved she is and how monumental a loss her death is to all of us.

85% of survivors choose not to report their rape to police. Those who do only have a 1.3% chance of seeing charges bought. It's no wonder then that 38% state their reason for not reporting as being because they do not believe the police could help.
You are not to blame for the sexual violence you have survived. That burden of responsibility can only be carried by your perpetrator(s). You could not have anticipated that you would be abused. Someone violated your trust and that is on them, never on you. The only cause of rape is rapists themselves and you did what you had to do to protect yourself, and it worked because you survived and you're here reading this right now. Surviving is tough but so are you. Solidarity.
This week is sexual abuse and sexual violence awareness week. We ask that all who see this support the work of @justiceforgaia who are fighting for justice for their beloved Gaia and all survivors like her to make sure it never happens again.
